TLA Lda - Amores Car Rental

1. DEPOSIT: (Must deposit one day's full payment to guarantee the reservation)

1.1          The Renter further agrees to make “one day” deposit with the Owner, said deposit to be used, in the event of loss of or damage to the vehicle or equipment during the term of this Car Rental Agreement, to defray fully or partially the cost of necessary repairs or replacement.
1.2          In the absence of damage or loss, said deposit shall be credited toward payment of the Rental Rate and any excess shall be returned to the Renter.

1.3        Prohibit using other people's documents or driving license to rent our cars; it's against Rental Company Policy, Traffic Law Timor-Leste Road Code - Decree Law No. 6/2003 and UNTAET Directive that You must drive on YOUR OWN license and, Penal code Article 306 - "Use of another person's identification document" and Penal Code Article 303  "About Forgery".

2. REGULATIONS:
2.1          All fuel used shall be paid for by the Renter and return with full tank.
2.2          Make sure the car is clean before return to the owner.
2.3          Cancellation less than 24 hours apply a full day payment.
2.4          The rented vehicle shall not be used to carry passengers or property for hire.
2.5          The rented vehicle shall not be used to carry passengers, goods or materials more than the rated weight carrying capacity of the vehicle.
2.6          The rented vehicle shall not be used to carry passengers other than in the interior or cab of the vehicle.
2.7          The rented vehicle shall not be used to push, propel or tow another vehicle, trailer or any other thing without the written permission of the Owner.
2.8          The rented vehicle shall not be used for any race or in any competition.
2.9          The rented vehicle shall not be used for any illegal purpose.
2.10        The rented vehicle shall not be operated by any other person other than the Renter without the written permission of the      Owner.
2.11        Client must pay car body scratch upon return of the vehicle. Small Scratch start pay from USD20.00 up
2.12        Minor damage to totally damage of the car is responsible by the renter.
2.13        Total damage of the car or car lost will be replaced new one by the renter.
2.14        The Car must be wash and return clean both inside and outside. failure to do so resulted USD10.00 fee. (This is for use to use an external person to take the car and wash).

2.15. In case of any legal dispute that is caused by the renter, including the car needing to be parked at the police station or public prosecutor’s office during the process, the renter will be responsible for all the costs associated, and also the renter must pay the full rental fee for the whole period from the first day rented until the day the relevant institution or court decides to release the car.

3. VIOLATIONS:
Late returns:
0-1 Hour late: No charge
1-2 Hours late: ½ the average USD10/day
2-6 More hours late: we charge half a day price
Beyond 6 hours we charge full day fee.
