Duration: two days/one night. The Highlands rise steeply up right behind Dili’s suburban streets, and you’ll be quickly transported up and up winding roads with vast panoramas before descending into a valley for a short visit to Seloi Kraik, a small quiet mountain lake surrounded by rice padis. From there you will visit a Vanilla co-operative before ascending even higher over Fleixa Pass to one of Timor-Leste’s most photogenic waterfalls – Dokomali. Your tour then returns as far as Maubisse mountain village for the night.
Suitable for able-bodied people of all ages but requires a reasonable level of fitness. The walk to the waterfall is 90 minutes return and steep in places
