A full day at sea seeking out whales and dolphins in their natural environment in the Wetar Strait. The day begins early, setting out from the coast with a small group of like-minded explorers; as the sun rises the strait comes alive. Depending on the season and conditions you may encounter spinner dolphins, melon-headed whales, pilot whales, sperm whales and the mighty pygmy blue whale, plus manta rays, whale sharks and other marine megafauna.
When conditions allow and it is safe, you will have the opportunity to gently enter the water, observing these magnificent animals from a respectful distance. Enjoy refreshments and a light lunch on a remote beach, with uninterrupted views of Timor-Leste's pristine coastline. USD 385 per person per day; all snorkelling gear is provided.
