The people who run the boats
We've been running boats out of Beloi since the early reef surveys. Two compressors, three boats, a tight team of Timorese divemasters trained from the village. Small groups — never more than four divers per guide. We brief on the boat, debrief over coffee, and we know which sites work in which current.
Our house reef
Walk thirty metres off the beach and the reef shelf drops to a sloping wall covered in soft corals and crinoids. The house reef is where we run check dives, refreshers and most of the Open Water training. Night dives are short — straight off the jetty, torch in hand.

Between dives
Surface intervals are part of the trip. The resort is built around long, slow afternoons so the nitrogen has time to do what it does.

For non-diving partners
Half the people on the boat have a non-diving partner on the beach. We make sure they have something to do.

Certification check — please bring with you
We are required to verify every diver before you get in the water. Please bring:
- Your certification card (PADI / SSI / CMAS / NAUI — any agency is fine)
- Most recent log book if you have one
- Signed medical statement — sample form on request
Not dived in 12 months? We'll run a half-day refresher on the house reef before your first boat dive. No charge for the refresher when you book any package of 6 dives or more.

• No alcohol the evening before deep dives, no alcohol at all between dives on the same day.
• 5 m / 3 min safety stop on every dive, no exceptions, even on shallow profiles.
• Maximum two dives per day on Open Water profiles, three only by arrangement with a divemaster.

Check-in from 12:00. Boats leave at 08:00 sharp — be down for breakfast by 07:00 on dive days.

House rules
Quiet by 22:00 — early boats. Rinse all gear at the rinse station before hanging. No spear-fishing equipment on our boats. Reef-safe sunscreen only.
Cancellation & weather refunds
Full refund up to 7 days before arrival. Inside 7 days we hold the deposit as credit toward a future booking — Timor weather is honest, plans change.

- Failed medical clearance on arrival = refund of dive portion, accommodation refundable at our discretion.
