History

The story of this place

Inaugurated in December 2005, the AMRT preserves the institutional and photographic memory of the 24-year liberation struggle against Indonesian occupation. Its state-of-the-art archives safeguard millions of pages of resistance documents, recognized internationally by UNESCO for their documentary value.
